Gecomms Helmet Communication Systems Applications

The applications listed below are by no means the limit to how GeoComms systems can be deployed. These applications are merely representative of how are systems have been accepted in traditional roles with some future uses also under consideration. Retro fitting our core technologies have brought new groups of users to our attention and we believe this list will grow.

Traditional Applications

Rigid Hull Inflatable BoatRigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB)

This group of users includes Search & Rescue, Coast Guard, Navy, Surf, and Pilot Boat. Our studies indicated these groups to be the most vulnerable to poor communications to due operations being day and night. The fact that this type of boat rarely has a cover means users are susceptible to all kinds of weather and the possibility of being in the water for rescues.

Fastboat

Fast boat

This is a relatively new group of users that differ slightly from the RHIB user. They are most often military or paramilitary such as Navy Seal, Homeland Security, Drug Enforcement Agency and Port Security. These users typically require our most advanced systems due to the nature of their work.

Helicopter

Helicopter Search And Rescue

Search and Rescue personnel who do open water evacuations from helicopters have found our systems to be very reliable to communicate between crewmembers. Communications between ground or deck personnel and helicopter pilots is another example of where our systems out perform others.

Developmental Applications

Firefighters Search and Rescue

GeoComms is currently studying how best to retro fit and deploy our core technologies to other groups with historical problems with communications. To date we have identified Fire departments, Swat, Smoke Jumpers as groups working in wet hostile environments and may find our waterproof systems to be of use. We are continuing to work with these groups through our engineering department and results will be posted at future dates.
